| Children's Theatre
Foundation (CTF) was founded in 1981 as a non-profit organization to
raise funds to support theatre arts programs for children in the
community. From 1981 to 2002, we supported programs such as
a community based musical production, Ebenezer,
based on Charles Dickens' Christmas Carol, written by Bob
Voight, Gary Frame, and Glen Williams, and the Oregon Project, I
Must Walk Toward Oregon, written by playwright Sandra Archer, in
cooperation with area senior citizens and CET students.
In 2002, CTF was reorganized with an
expanded mission to support theatre arts programs in the
mid-Willamette Valley. Through 2007, we have funded 15
programs with 685 students from grades kindergarten through high
school directly participating in over 50 performances and including
hundreds of members of the community viewing the performances.
